How it all came to be....

Founded by Kenny Alfonso and Phillip DeVona in 1997 and joined by Melissa Ponzio in 1999, The Goods Inc. (TGI) is the Atlanta-based entertainment and clothing company connected by The Goods® Brand and its meaning of self-belief and empowerment.

What started as the two-man comedy show "The Goods" on a small stage in Atlanta’s Little 5 Points, became a grand entrepreneurial venture for the trio when a fight broke out after a show over the last Goods hat.  The Goods® Brand was born.   

TGI is currently administrating The Goods In You (T.G.I.Y.) Scholarship Fund developed to encourage kids to find ’the goods’ in themselves and be their own role model. TGI plans to award its first T.G.I.Y. Scholarship in 2009.

TGI is also in development of the feature film The Goods: Bodyguards to The Stars, based on signature characters Ricky Santangello & Vito Fucarino.                                                                                                                                    (ABOVE)  The Goods® Brand on HatShack Store shelves in 2001 in Atlanta.
